Why would you even wanna marry the guy if he has such beliefs and you disagree with them completely? Also, why marry at all when you plan to then live separately? You don't need a "husband" and you seem strong and independent yourself. Such fundamental differences are usually irreconcilable and don't allow relationships to last too long. Unless this is something you can talk and resolve and make him see your side of things and change the mindset.
