unfortunately the truth - there are about a 100,000 publications on Medium - I am noone to say which are better than others but 99% of them are NOT Medium funded- and I'll surely bet the other 1% are not for sure better than the rest - so why selectively pay then? Startup isn't Medium funded..they do alright voluntarily
