the jury on Gandhi has always been split, and you are probably more of an expert being a political scientist than I am but having spent the vast majority of my life in India and having read in a lot of detail about him, many accounts are conflicting and I dont have a strong view on what to believe. Thats the thing with posthumous analysis about people — it is all conjecture.

As for the quote, that specific quote did resonate n convey what i wanted to say in that specific sentence, and is by no means an endorsement of Gandhis ways on feminism or equality ☺
