the crap's got it to close to 100k followers, and I won't speak for others but the "crap" that I've published on Illumination has had often 80%+ curation rates. There are stories and writers on their that habitually go viral. I've had the privilege to publish with some of the top pubs (as they're claimed to be) and none of my pieces with them have seen any skyrocketing impact vs. what's on Illumination. At least there's diversity of opinion and a democratic platform - which was always the goal - none of the editors here are under the false belief that we're anyone to "judge" the works of others and feel self-entitled.

We'd rather let the readers decide what's crap and do their own filtering - and 93k followers, and growing, doesn't tell me its crap. Of course, you must know better with your absolutist claim - who am I :)
