That is likely to happen and here is my view on that from the three years on here - I (from what i have read so far) see you have three primary niches for now - writing abt writing / medium, writing abt ur journey of giving up alcohol and parenting.

Any success in the first category is often transactional and limits itself to that one article (like ur friends of medium story). The other two help u connect and relate to ur reader in a deeper capacity - once you hit a viral story in those category, expect that to be a sticky success and grow from there.

Try finding publications on those topics that can “nominate” u for a boost. I have only had one boost in the new system (hundreds of “distributions” in the old system) and that really helper - that was my Remote Work isnt dead article..
