Netflix Games & Shuffle Play — Hit or Miss?
The quintessential mobile user’s perspective
Before you give any importance to my opinion as a Netflix user, you need to understand the unique demographic I represent. I have a 3-year-old who, unlike most 3-year-olds, is a late sleeper. We also follow co-sleeping, so he shares the room with my wife and me.
By the time he dozes off, it is past 10 p.m. and invariably my wife is asleep too. I have always been a late sleeper. The bedtime has improved from 2 am to 12 am since fatherhood, but still leaves me with time to kill.
I also intend to make no noise to wake up my two favorite people (I am scared of either’s anger). The only choice I am left with is to turn to the other side and find some entertainment on my phone.
Thank you, Netflix. As a quintessential Netflix mobile user here is what I think of the latest features.
First, what are the major new features?
Have you ever found yourself contemplating what to watch for so long that by the end of it you just decide to watch nothing?
I had a friend who told me he returned from the office, watched the automatic previews that Netflix threw at him, and would go to bed without actually watching anything. Everyday.
