If there was one individual that caused the world the most destruction, Adolf Hitler would likely be a front-runner for the notorious distinction.

His ideology was what we know as Nazism — a short name for National Socialism. It was one of the most discriminating ideologies which encouraged the “right” of the strong to rule over the weak, promotes racism and bias, and rejects all the modern ideals of liberalism, human rights, democracy, and so on.

Yet, one man, in the form of Adolf Hitler was able to convince enough men and women, that it was the right ideology, and led them towards mass murder of innocent people in the name of religion, and racial supremacy.

This was nearly a century ago — and you’d think that modern-day morality and ideologies are far more informed and evolved to face a threat from anything Hitleresque.

Yet, a different sort of trend is slowly gripping major nations of the world and driving modern civilization towards self-destruction.

Neo-Nationalism is a widespread phenomenon
