Loving dogs is great, so is loving animals. But I hate when the bigotry of the selective sympathy sometimes. Your piece is great, however I read another that infuriated me - about how "horrific" it was that some people were served dog meat (without their knowledge).

I totally get that's awful to serve anyone anything without their knowledge - but as a vegetarian, I fail to see why killing millions of cows and pigs is OK, but ONE dog served on a plate is SIN.
