Kevin, thank you for the thoughtful response and questions . While I don't have the answer to all, what I do think is that political preferences are probably motivated by personal biases. I dont know if all Republicans are.short term focused or if all short term minded folks end up supporting Republicans given their alignment.. chicken or egg..and I wish people could look at both short term and long term but prioritization isnt always easy i guess!
