I’ve come to realize the obsession with nudity is two-pronged.

1. it is an attempt to normalize something that is indeed an integral part of existence - we are all born naked and there is enough reason for that school of thought to destigmatize nudity and make movies / theater same more lifelike.
2. It sells. And this is a bigger reason than I’d like to think it should be. Unfortunately, basic instincts trump most things!
