I don’t need to believe anything anyone else tells me, have had the chance at living in the US for a bit to see things firsr hand and the chance to go to 13 other countries to get a fair comparitive picture.

The point here isnt that the minimum wagw is fair — it probably isnt, but the fact that it EXISTS is a privilege. the fact that social security EXISTS is a privilege. The fact that healthcare and access to basic education EXISTS is a privilege. A privilege that comes with being an American. And no I am not going to compare to Norway coz Norwegisn population isnt even a rounding error in the worlds context. I will compare to the “majority” of the world i.e. Asia and Africa coz to most of those people $1,100 a month is no less than princely income. So the most able Americans need to quit feeling “entitled” abt everything. That is the point here. The point is if the avg middle income American can bash Bezos for being billionaire..the avg Asian or African can bash the middle incomed American to be doing the same..both arguments are stupid but they are comparable
