I cant agree more with this. Alcohol is synonymous with having fun as an adult. How can you unwind if u dont drink?

I haven’t sipped alcohol once all my life (barring once when I didnt know an Irish coffee wasnt jst a coffee) and I come from an Indian state that is known for heavy drinkers and worked 12 yrs in investment banking - where you know the reputation.

Yet I have proudly never budged to the social obligation of drinking and it has held me in good stead. When something takes you out of your own control (or inhibitions) there is something wrong with it - not sure why that isn’t obvious to people.
