Hi Carlos, more to do with the fact that quiet quitting will separate the coal and the diamonds in a way .i e. when 2 employees decide to do the "bare minimum" their skill difference and the natural subjectivity in bare minimum changes things.. in a regular world, the average or below avg employee slogs their ass off and works 12 hrs to compensate for their skill where a star employee often does that same in 6 hrs .now when both decide to barely put in 6 hrs a day, the star is still doing great and the not so great employee starts to lack...on the other hand when a freeloader decides to reduce his output it barely matters coz they werent producing much anyway so their replaceability is exaggerated. While when a key contributor reduces their effort the job actually suffers highlighting their importsnce..and so managers will see not all employees are equal and have a clearer sense or differential importance of folks in a team
