We’re Lucky We’ve Got Global Warming to Worry About

It isn’t what our kids will hate us for

It is rather amusing that people actually believe that the single biggest reason why future generations will hate their parents will be climate change.

Yes, climate change is real and it may change the way we live or might spell apocalypse. But, it will never be the number one thing on an average person’s mind in their day-to-day lives.

Ask an average poor person from a developing country what their number one concern every day is.

Highly likely they will tell you that they are working hard to put the next meal on their family’s plates and a roof over their head.

They are not going to say that the melting glaciers and depleting ozone layer have them worried sleepless at night.

Then why are parents and childfree people today claiming that their kids will hate them for bringing them into this world or that this is why they choose not to have kids, respectively?

Let us understand the actual reality.

Today’s youth is luckier than ever before

My grandpa walked 5 miles every day to school and then another 5 back because rural India in the 1940s didn’t have better…
