follow-for-follow is the worst way of gaining followers (beyond the first 100 - which i guess right now is an issue) .. I have always hated this style. As you write more and more here you'll see the BEST way of gaining followers is when a story does well and brings followers with hit. My two best months (net 200+ followers added each month) were when I had 2 stories go quite wide. Also brought me my 12 referrals.

You're a solid writer and you've hit the nail on the head on being a genuine follower / and getting genuine followers - the right way to go!
