Ever considered people have a life outside of Medium too? God forbid, but the owner of a publication could have had a personal emergency where his first or last to-do wasnt to find an heir for a stupid Medium publication but to fight for life or death?

If you dont see a pub beong active jst take ur work elsewhere n self publish than point fingers? I am an owner of zero pubs and usually dont care abt this stuff but sometimes folks here need to remember Medium isn’t life and life isn’t Medium.
