coz just like you respected sir, might have forgotten how it is to be a 2 yr old feeling helpless coz they were given something and had it taken away from them because you were a child many years ago just loke the rest of us, I dont expect our then 20 month old to learn rationality by “letting them deal with things” because as you said we chose to have a child and didnt do him a favor by having him so I felt it our responsibility to ease him out of a bad habit we put him into in the first place. So creating a constructive distraction in a leaening activity to help them channel that extra energy doesnt seem like all that bad an idea to me.

I think a child has enough of real world to face eventually like all of us to realize “you have to deal with shit” but I dont intend to subject a 2 yr old to that reality just yet.
