For the longest time, men have hidden behind the excuse that women just tend to mature faster than men, especially emotionally.

It is often used as a ridiculous excuse for failed relationships and for general male douchebaggery.

I decided to take a look at the actual science and reasons behind this belief — and looking at the actual science behind it, I am convinced this is a fact.

However, it is also a fact that shouldn’t end up being a crutch for men’s bad behaviors, but a reaffirmation and logical explanation for something I’ve personally always believed.

Women make better bosses at the workplace — and now there’s enough science to back it and for us to change the horribly male-biased mix of corporate CEOs.

… wait for it….

44!

Yes, 8.8 % of Fortune 500 CEOs are women — and we’re celebrating. Wow! Women make up about 50% of the world, and in the corporate CEO landscape, they make a meager 8.8% and that’s a record high. Enough said!
