As a 90s Kid, I Hate These Modern Technologies

I want them undone so my son can experience what I did

Technology is amazing and we all reap countless benefits from it every day. Things that were unthinkable a decade ago are commonplace today.

Yet, there are things that technology has today replaced, that I wish we could still experience and cherish. Things that today’s generations will never even know existed or will think of as some ancient practice from centuries ago.

When in reality, these are things that we experienced as kids growing up in the 1990s — which isn’t as long ago as it may seem. Ask a 90s kid and they’ll tell you it all seems just like yesterday.

If I could bring back some of the obsolete stuff from my childhood and get rid of the modern technologies that replaced them — these are my top five, and I am sure many people from my generation will agree.

Summer vacations at my maternal grandparents’ hill station house were a treat. All my cousins from my mom’s side of the family would be there and we’d take turns playing the Sega videogame one of my cousins owned.
